Honey Chipotle Hummus

We eat a whole lot of hummus in this household- it’s cheap, easy to make, & a healthy filling snack. During particularly busy evenings one of our favorite dinners consists of just hummus and salads.

Why I Love this Recipe: This hummus is a savory sweet snack with a perfect hint of smoky heat.

What You’ll Need:

  • One Can Garbanzo Beans (Drain aquafaba into 1/4 measuring cup)

  • 2 Tbs Olive Oil

  • 2Tbs Raw Honey

  • 1 Tbs Tahini

  • 1/4 - 3/4 Tsp Chipotle Powder (Depending on desired heat)

  • Juice of 1 Lemon

  • 5 Grinds of Fresh Cracked Pepper

  • Sea Salt to Taste

How To:

  • Drain the aquafaba from one can of garbanzo beans into a 1/4 measuring cup

  • Place all ingredients into a food processor or blender. If you aren’t a fan of extra spicy foods I recommend starting out with only 1/4 tsp of chipotle powder then add more as desired after blending

  • Pour in the 1/4 cup of aquafaba and blend until creamy

  • Add sea salt to taste & top with a sprinkle of chipotle powder & drizzle of honey before serving
